MAP Policy

Effective March 1, 2026

Purpose

Rattle & Roll Toy Company is committed to protecting our retail partners and preserving the value of the Balibazoo and GiliGums brands. This Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) Policy establishes the lowest price at which authorized retailers may advertise our products across all channels. This policy exists to ensure a level playing field for all retailers, maintain healthy margins, and protect the premium positioning of our brands.

What This Policy Covers

MAP applies to all publicly visible pricing, including but not limited to:

  • Your retail website (product pages, shopping carts, and checkout)
  • Third-party marketplaces (Amazon, eBay, Walmart Marketplace, etc.)
  • Social media posts, ads, and Stories with visible pricing
  • Google Shopping, Facebook/Instagram Shop, and other product feeds
  • Email marketing, newsletters, and promotional campaigns
  • Print advertising, flyers, catalogs, and mailers
  • Coupon and deal sites where your pricing is displayed

What This Policy Does Not Restrict

MAP is an advertising policy, not a resale price requirement. You are free to:

  • Sell products at any price in your physical store
  • Offer in-store promotions, bundle deals, or loyalty discounts that are not publicly advertised online
  • Set your own retail price above the MAP price

The distinction is simple: the price a customer sees before they decide to visit your store or add to cart must be at or above MAP. What happens at the register or after a personal interaction is your business.

MAP Prices

MAP prices for all Balibazoo and GiliGums products are listed on your wholesale account at rattleandrolltoys.com and on the product line sheets provided with your account approval. MAP prices are subject to change with 30 days written notice to all authorized retailers.

Compliance & Enforcement

We monitor advertised pricing across online and offline channels. If a MAP violation is identified:

  1. First Occurrence: We will notify you in writing and request that pricing be corrected within 48 hours.
  2. Second Occurrence: Wholesale account privileges will be suspended for 30 days.
  3. Third Occurrence: Wholesale account will be permanently terminated.

This policy is applied uniformly to all authorized retailers without exception. No retailer, regardless of volume or history, receives preferential treatment regarding MAP enforcement.

Reporting Violations

If you become aware of a MAP violation by another retailer, we encourage you to report it to us at info@rattleandrolltoys.com. We take all reports seriously and will investigate promptly. Protecting your margins is a priority for us.

Authorized Promotions

From time to time, Rattle & Roll Toy Company may authorize temporary MAP reductions for specific promotional periods (e.g., holiday sales events). Any authorized MAP reductions will be communicated in writing to all retailers simultaneously, with specific start and end dates. No retailer may reduce advertised pricing below MAP without prior written authorization from Rattle & Roll Toy Company.

Acknowledgment

By placing a wholesale order with Rattle & Roll Toy Company, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to comply with this Minimum Advertised Price Policy. This policy is a condition of doing business with Rattle & Roll Toy Company and applies to all current and future orders.
