The Cosmo ring rattle is fantastic. After putting it in the refrigerator it soothed my granddaughter's gums . It is also very easy to clean just put on the top rack in the dishwasher.
Got this teether for my 4mo granddaughter who has just started teething in earnest.As a retired aerospace engineer, I love the “cosmo” design of this teether with a planet, cloud, star, moon and sun as the chewies. As a grandma, I appreciate that this is food safe silicon (no smells or anything coming out of the package, either). This teether is a lot smaller than the listing pictures imply, but actually that is a good thing; my granddaughter prefers teethers that are smaller around because they are easier for her to grasp, and the smaller nubs are not so big that she can shove them too far in her mouth and gag. It is also pretty flexible and the nubs are firm but with a nice texture that feels good on tender gums. My daughter also appreciates that the colors of this teether are muted and not overstimulating like so many baby toys.Overall, I think this is going to be a favorite for my granddaughter!
First, this ring is smaller (thinner) than it looks in the pictures, which makes it easy for her to hold and grasp. I keep it in the fridge and give it to her after she wakes up, thankfully around 7am, and then again around 6pm when she really starts to get fussy. It seems to soothe her. It doesn’t stay cold very long, and it doesn’t even get very cold, but for my LO it’s fine since she’s just getting into the sensory phase for real. The different textures on the teether provide different sensations. She seems to like the different textures, and it keeps her busy.This is just a small, lightweight ring with little nubs, and she can actually hold it now because it’s so small and lightweight. It’s ergonomic for little hands. The silicone is soft. It’s easy to clean with soap and warm to hot water. The quality seems very good; there are no weird leftover molding bits. I don’t think this will be the best teether for her once she reaches about 4-6 months. At that point, I’ll look for something with a freezer insert that can reach her molars.
